On behalf of the Most Worshipful National Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted York Rite Masons, Prince Hall Origin, National Compact, in and for the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, I am honored to announce our upcoming Jefferson D. Tufts, Sr., National Scholarship Banquet, which will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Chicago Marriott Oakbrook, 1401 West 22nd Street, Oak Brook, Illinois 60523.

This annual banquet celebrates the legacy of Jefferson D. Tufts, Sr., and provides scholarships to deserving high school graduates pursuing higher education. Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, religion, creed, or field of study, and funds are paid directly to the Registrar’s Office at the recipient’s college or university. This year’s theme is “Uplifting, Uniting, and Rebuilding,” and we anticipate an audience of approximately 500 attendees, including professionals, small business owners, civic leaders, and community members from across the United States and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.
